Go Red for Women is an international initiative run by the World Heart Federation that focuses on raising awareness of heart disease amongst women.

Shapeshift Interactive was commissioned to develop the South African website.

The website had to remain in line with the international initiative yet retain a unique South African identity.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation required the website to encourage users to share their experiences and thoughts with the community.

Solution

Shapeshift Interactive developed the website to incorporate various feedback systems to enable the users to send ideas, photos and their experiences directly from the website.

The website features an integrated CMS with a newsletter creation and sending system to give The Heart and Stroke Foundation the ability to send information via email to users who signed up to the Go Red for Women Initiative.
